So.. I’ve just had to delete 120 spam comments. My that was fun.

There’s been a severe lack of updates going on at the moment but this is due to several things…

a) ive moved and have a lack of internet
b) i’m knackered
c) I’m working lots
d) Student Radio is going manic
e) I didn’t have much to say.

But thought I’d pop on and say hey i’m not dead x

Get MT-Blacklist — I’ve been using it on all the MT blogs I host, and it’s pretty damn effective. Certainly a lot more convenient than doing it manually!

I’m glad you’re not dead, and whilst I echo Laurie’s comment (I have it myself) if you’ve had only 120 spam comments in the last X weeks, Blacklist might be overkill…why not disable comments on archived posts?

Mind you, once the comments are left, other spammers note you as a soft touch and they realy pour in. Blacklist processes 70 comment refusals a day for me at the moment, and it’s growing…
